Garmin has released firmware version 8.08 for the GPSMAP H1 and H1i Plus. Unfortunately not change log available yet. Express showed the same release notes as for 7.07. It looks like the map theme file (Etyp) is also updated, hopefully that fixes the issue where the red dashed paths are not shown on the map in other activities than Hike and MTB.

- icons for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and have been added to the status bar
- issue where certain paths (cycleway, footpath, etc) were not shown with red dashed lines seems to be fixed
- device fells a bit more responsive, but this is always difficult to tell without actual comparisons
