Hello,
I recently purchased a Van Rysel Cadence sensor. My primary sport is cycling and have been using my eTrex 30x for navigation on it. The Van Rysel cadence sensor works on ANT+ and BT. Connects without a problem with other devices. However it doesn't connect to the eTrex 30x. I followed these steps:
Setup > ANT sensor > Bike cadence sensor > Search for new. (It just doesn't detect)
Am I doing anything fundamentally wrong? Could the experts please help?

Re: ANT+ Sensors on the eTrex 30x
You will likely have to contact Garmin to see if this is something the eTrex 30x is intended to support.
Maybe another reader will have some experience to share that is helpful otherwise.

Re: ANT+ Sensors on the eTrex 30x
The eTrex 30x supports only the older, combined cadence/speed sensor GC10. It does not support the current cadence sensor from Garmin.
Probably the same applies to the Van Rysel sensor.
