Unfortunately, I also have to confirm that the increase values are still incorrect. At least on the train ride where I already had meaningless values of 6.60, it seems as if it gets worse the longer the distance.

addendum:

Every time I tried to intentionally calibrate the altimeter incorrectly, the 65s immediately began to correct the deviation (constantly lowering the altitude), regardless of whether I was moving or not. The 67 makes no effort to correct anything at all (see picture) it just stays there even though I have activated continuous correction.

please try this and report it to Garmin and do it with other devices in parallel and send a video to Garmin

I did a hill walk in the Peak District UK on the Pennine Way today the 67 because it was a proper hill was more or less bang on my epix less than 100 feet between them on the ascent and descent figure. But I also took them out for a walk on my usual route near my house on the flat this morning and the 67 still over read massively but going up a mountains it seems the 67 works fine. It's as if the 67 as an issue when the walk is mainly flat with very slight inclines/declines. Up proper hills/mountains it seems to record fine. Really weird issue?

Software 5.30, upgraded from 4.80 due to the sat page number issue.

I haven't noticed any monstrous errors on my 67, the climbs are correct, it must be said that now I no longer do long hikes and big climbs.

Is yours a v2 or v4 version when you go into the hardware info on start up? ( Press power on and then hold enter).

Mine is a V4

I discovered the problem: the automatic calibration of the altimeter does not work. It drifted a full 150m over the course of the day. When I saved the activity, it adopted the calibration value that I entered manually in the morning.
and this creates these deviations which are of course more noticeable on flat routes. and are hardly noticeable on hills, mountains or short distances.

Now it would be interesting to know whether the correction of the altimeter doesn't work on the FW 6.60, I suspect that it works there and the correction values are also counted as ascent/descent.

I've tried manually entering the known elevation before I start my route aswell as resetting the trip and timing data and it didn't make any difference to me.

I've had a chap called Paul a Garmin engineer email today, I had to send off what recording interval my 67 and Epix is on and the GPX files for the routes I've recorded both at the same time where it shows the major difference between the devices.

Does this mean that a solution to this problem will soon be available? could you tell the Garmin engineer that there is also a problem with the automatic calibration of the altimeter, I think this is a very good possibility. Now to share these insights.

Did he also say how long it will take until an update appears?
