Where To? icons incorrectly assigned [Bug 43]

This issue has been reported to Garmin (along with the associated screenshots) on Tue June 17, 2025. No response yet since it's after hours at the time of the emailed report. I'll post back with their reply when I get one.

This is a verified, reproducible bug with the GPSMAP 67 under software v9.10.

If the unit is set up to display the "Small Grid" or "List" menu option (Menu / Setup / Menus / Menu Style: Small Grid or List), pressing the Find button will display the icons along with their descriptions correctly (the icon matches the description). There is no issue.

If the unit is set up to display the "Big Grid" menu option (Menu / Setup / Menus / Menu Style: Big Grid), pressing the Find button will display icons with INCORRECT icon descriptions (the icon does NOT match the description). This is the issue.

With the out-of-box software v6.91, the icons and their descriptions match correctly. Updating the unit to the current v9.10 causes the described issue.

I have tried switching between Small Grid and Big Grid numerous times as well as resetting the unit to factory default. The issue remains under software v9.10.

I have attached four screenshots illustrating the issue. Descriptive examples (from one of the attached screenshots):

Pressing the Find button:

Recorded Activities shows the Active Route icon instead
Round-Trip Routing shows the Routing icon instead
Coordinates shows the Community icon instead
All POIs shows (what I think is) the Addresses icon instead
Cities shows the Auto Services icon instead
Shopping has the Restricted Area icon instead

I don't believe *any* of the displayed icons match correctly with the description under the "Big Grid" setting.

Note that I have only tested the standard GPSMAP 67 and NOT the GPSMAP 67i variant since I only have the standard 67 to test. I would assume that the issue also exists on the GPSMAP 67i because of their similarities and the software versions they run but I have no way to verify that it does.

I have heard back from Garmin support regarding this issue. Yes, it is a verified bug (not sure if I was the one who brought it to their attention).

Here is their response:

Thank you for reaching out to us, and for providing the photos of the issue you're experiencing on your GPSMAP 67.

I was also able to duplicate this issue on two separate GPSMAP 67 units; since that's the case, there's not much we can do in the way of troubleshooting. However, I've created a ticket to have our engineering team take a look at the issue so that it can be addressed. As soon as I've heard back from them, I will reach out to let you know.

can you see Address icon after pushing Find button in case of small icon or list ?
Address menu item has disappeared in v9.10 in my GPSMAP 67.

If the loaded maps do not support address search, the option will not appear.
