eTrex SE Firmware 5.22

Garmin published eTrex SE Firmware version 5.22 on September 04, 2026:

Changes made to version 5.22:
  • Added ability to continue navigation to a waypoint after you have arrived at the destination
  • Fixed issue with missing stats on course review pages
  • Fixed issues with Waypoint creation date when using BaseCamp
  • Fixed potential incorrect data for first and last points on the Destinations page
  • Fixed potential issue with vertical speed data field when using meters per second units.
  • Fixed potential issues where weather data would not fully load
  • Fixed potential shutdown when viewing the Course Points list

So far I have tested the following:
1) stats on course review pages - fixed,
2) weather data would not fully load - fixed,
3) potential shutdown when viewing the Course Points list - fixed,
4) incorrect data for first and last points on the Destinations page - unfixed; the first point is still wrong!

In addition, the new field called "GPX" appeared and is displayed at the main page in the unit. It refers to the gpx files uploaded manually to the unit. What's interesting that, apart from "Waypoints" and "Courses", the GPX contains now also the "Routes".

FYI - This is not new. Has been there since product inception. If you didn't have any data int he GPX directory, it may not have appeared.
