The Montana 7x0 has a specific setting for enabling and disabling the barometric altimeter, and I have requested Garmin provide this same configuration option to all current models.
That being said, I have successfully performed the function requested in the past (without the additionally requested setting) using a number of my Garmin devices, and as such find myself confused as to why it no longer works like it has in the past.

I have been expected that Garmin solve previous problem every time release new firmware, not add another!

I tried with new firmware 7.20 but it doesn't work correctly.

Thank you for the update.
We need to continue to contact Garmin by email and by phone (most important) until they resolve this issue.
The more they hear from users, the more likely they are to address the issue.
