Here's a photo of how my buttons looked. Interesting was that Garmin US support first explained it as a protective layer for transport wearing away, but some days later Garmin NL support offered to replace the device.

Yep, that's how the bottom of my toggle button went. Garmin US sound like they're smoking some good gear. My new one has been fine since. I'll try and dig the pics I took out.
