I wrote back that there was no such possibility. This is what they replied:
Unfortunately it is just by design. But these finds takes very little amount of space and the newest finds should then replace the oldest.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to clear the Recent Finds list?

Which I no longer need. Found Geocache and additional waypoints etc.
