Ah well that sucks then. And not very convenient that Garmin don't update their support pages for this...

Hi! It's great idea! If only it would work, one can use Edge/Garmin watch as well. It needs confirmation.
It can be done, we just need to build a library of popular apps here so additional supported units are not necessary.

I may sound like captain obvious, but have you contacted garmin support about it?
Wouldn't surprised me if they kinda "forgot" that these devices still have connectiq and needed updates.
kinda offtopic: is it of any help to share apps from other devices (like edge 1040 solar?).
