Just updated to 3.40 here in Canada (Toronto) and I'm happy to see bug #58 has been resolved. Yahooo!

Why?

The changelog does not tell anything about the expedition bugs
Just - Improved altitude accuracy in Expedition Mode

But there are odometer-bugs, gps-satellite-selection-bugs, .... all in expedition mode

Have you retested Expedition mode in v340 to confirm those bugs still exist?

While they don't say so, the problem of the odometer showing huge distances in expedition mode is likely fixed. I've been running a beta 3.2 version for the past two weeks which was supposed to have fixed it. Despite trying hard to reproduce it I saw no signs of the problem. I assume 3.4 has that fix.

No, i did not retest it. - i am tired of the myriad of bugs
But i would write it in the changelog, if it is really fixed

Where do you get the beta-fws?
Did you also test gps-satellite selection in beta with expedition mode?

Garmin leaves a lot of fixes out of the change logs, so just because you don't see it there doesn't mean it wasn't corrected.

So feel free to test everything - i am tired of testing this buggy unit.

Is it so difficult to write a complete changelog?
