We have track issues as well. After the hike's and just before saving it when back to the car it shows the correct ascent and descent. After saving the ascent and descent goes many times higher. And shows in Base Camp and on the saved track screen in the 66. But the chart for the track in Base Camp shows the correct asent and elevation.

Any tips? Sell it and get a Montana which I have and love?

Oh boy and newer better one? I see the prices dropping on them. Good thing you said that I almost pulled the trigger on one.
