It would be nice, if there is a setting if you want update existing Geocaching-data or not when using GeocachingLive.

I was suprised to read about the (new) behavior of GeocachingLive. Is that documented somewhere in the (new) manual?

No, the behavior is not new. In fact, it is nearly as old as GCLive. The Oregon 7x0 was the fist Garmin to have GCLive capability, and, as stated in my previous post, the undesirable behavior of overwriting the users manually loaded data was corrected in a very early firmware release for that device, and has been unchanged in all GCLive devices since.
