Montana 7x0 Firmware Update 8.50 released 18JUN21.


This update is being released in stages via Garmin Express and OTA, and should be available to everyone soon.

Where do I find the gcd ?

If you updated via OTA, I guess, it was deleted afterwards.
You could have a look into the internal storage in folder 'Garmin', if there is any *.gcd file.

Sorry, no gcd file in the Garmin folder. And yes, I updated via OTA.

Garmin Express offered now firmware 8.50 for me

Express just updated me today

Currently no changelog is known. Garmin Express shows it, but it's the changelog from older (reverted) 8.40 firmware.

I'd also like to see 8.50 in your collection.

In a German forum, there's a guy who has got 8.50 and offers to share it when somebody gets in contact with him via private message. This is the message in question:
