If you choose a country and afterwards choose a city, but then you don't want to enter one and and go back, the search area is shown with a lot of underscore elements.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Choose 'Where To?'
2) Choose 'Addresses'
3) Choose 'Search Area'
4) Choose 'Enter State/Province'
5) Enter 'England' (You can choose also something different, it does not matter)
6) Choose 'England'
7) Choose 'Search Area'
8) Choose 'Enter City'
9) Choose 'X' instead of typing something in
10) Choose 'Back' button instead of choosing an item
11) Now 'Search Area' is shown as '[..] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [..]' (30 underscore chars, if I counted correctly)

Based on the first answer from Garmin, they don't seem to see this as a bug.

This issue still exists in firmware 10.50.

Not fixed in firmware 10.90.

This issue still exists in firmware 13.10.

Underscore lines still shown with 14.80.

Unchanged in 15.00, 15.10 and 15.20.

Same as before in 16.50.
