Adding Via Point with 'Use Map' doesn't work within 'All POIs'

If you plan a simple A->B route and try to add afterwards a via point using 'Use Map' function, this will always fail, because it reports 'Only 50 points can be used for On Road navigation'. This is clearly wrong, as adding one via point can't break that limit.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open 'Where To?'
2) Choose 'All POIs'
3) Choose menu (three lines)
4) Choose 'Spell Search'
5) Enter something to search
6) Choose an item (It does not matter which one)
7) Press 'Go'
8) Open 'Where To?' again
9) Choose 'Set Via Point'
10) Choose 'Use Map'
11) Choose some street on the map (It does not mapper which one)
12) Instead of adding the via point, you now get the message 'Only 50 points can be used for On Road navigation'
Maybe Garmin starts me paying as a beta tester *sigh*...
