WAAS/EGNOS not working on Montana?

You can activate EGNOS/WAAS on the Montana 700 series. The question I have, does it works at all? Has anyone already seen if it works? It can be recognized by the fact that a letter 'D' appears between the satellite number and the reception bar. To keep the comparison fair, I deactivated GLONASS and GALILEO. Both devices only work in GPS mode and activated EGNOS / WAAS.
I have the phenomenon when the 276Cx and the 750i are next to each other that the 276Cx successfully displays a 'D' on some satellites after a few minutes. The Montana 750i, however, never. Both are next to each other only a few cm apart. So I would expect that both would have to be receiving roughly the same?
Anyone an idea, why?

Sorry to say, but my title is wrong

It should be called 'Differential GPS' instead of 'WAAS/EGNOS'.
EGNOS seems be working, as Satellite 33 is being receiver. But it seems, no 'Differential GPS. But questions stays

Your title is just fine, 'WAAS / EGNOS' is what most users are familiar with.
Your Satellite page screen capture shows that the Montana has not yet collected enough data to use EGNOS data when calculating the current position.
When it does, the "D's"
will appear!

Well, how do I long need to wait? Even after 2 hours no 'D' is being shown, while 276Cx shows after 2-3 minutes, on same position?

As you suggested, I put my 276Cx alongside with my 750i for about 70 Minutes outside. Clear view was avaiable all time. 276Cx had after about 5 Minutes starting to show 'D'. 750i still no 'D' after 70 Minutes.
This doesn't make any sense to me. Both GPSr were to each other lying on same place. Any ideas, why Montana still does not use after such long waiting time DGPS?

@gpsrchive Could this maybe be an issue with inReach models? Based on some replies in
https://www.naviboard.de/thread/66516-f ... Cberhaupt/, all 700 users seems to get the letter 'D', while 700i/750i users are not.

Not likely since my 750i shows the "D" just fine

Could be this related, as you have a US device? At least on my posted thread, more users posted and still no one with an inReach devices gets 'D', while all non inReach models do display it. But all users are eu users..
There must be some difference, why it is not shown.

As our geographic location prevents us from testing this, we have forwarded this information to Garmin for evaluation.
