How can a route be converted to a course?

According to changelog, it says: Added ability to convert routes and tracks to courses.
Converting Tracks works perectly fine for me. But how do I do convert a route? It does not matter, if I create a route directly on Montana or via BaseCamp, I don't have any option to convert them to a course.
Anyone knows how to do that?

Since all GPSMAP 66/86 series models received course support with recent firmware updates, and they all have the option to convert a route to a course, I suspect the omission of this feature on the Montana 7x0 was nothing more than a simple mistake, and is likely to be corrected with the next firmware update....

Thank you, that could be possible.
Garmin Explore also rolled out a massive update, where you can now created courses, which will be synced with Montana.

Last answer from Garmin is, that they don't know, if converting a route to a course will be ever added to Montana..

It is there now (v1080), and the
GPSrChive > Montana 7x0 > Main Menu > Route Planner page shows an example!
