Garmin have published Tread Firmware version 7.50 (06JAN22), which includes the following changes:

• Improved stability.

• Miscellaneous Group Ride Mobile improvements.

• Reworked the Trip Planner app to be map based.

• Redesigned the Track Recorder app.

• Added turn by turn trail routing.

• Added new vehicle profile characteristics.

• Added larger BirdsEye file size downloads.

• Added Group Ride Mobile support.

• Improved coordinate searching.

• Improved stability.

• Improved the performance during group rides with 15 or more riders.

• Improved the visibility of private parcel boundary lines in night mode.

• Fixed an issue where the name of a saved track is lost after it is saved.

• Miscellaneous UI improvements.

I am just curious. What are trails compared to routes, tracks and courses?

Like all automotive units can provide guided navigation along streets and highways, the Tread Powersports Navigators are the first Garmin products to provide guided routing for off grid roads and trails that are part of newly included maps that contain data from OSM, MVUM, and US Forestry Service maps.
