are the 750i/700i and 700 actually physically different?

Aside from the external antenna port and the camera, what's actually dimensionally different between the 700i/750i and the 700? Are they otherwise exactly the same?

Also, can the AA battery pack for the 700 fit into the 700i/750i? I know that the AA battery pack is only for the 700, but I'm wondering if it fits/locks into the 700i/750i.

What happens if you put the AA battery pack into the 700i/750i? Are the battery contacts different? Or is it all the same, it's just that the 700i/750i will try to pull more power than the AA battery pack can provide?

Dimensions are the same aside from the inReach SOS button.

The 700 does not include any internal inReach components.

The AA battery holder will not physically fit into the inReach models.

See GPSrChive > Montana 7x0 > Specifications for additional details.
