'gmapdem.img' shown as map only on SD

Hi. I have a question regarding the 'gmapdem.img'.
In my tests, I could see, that it belongs to the TopoActive map, as install/removal of TopoActive in Garmin Express also deletes/reinstalls the gmapdem.img.
Since 16GB storage of Montana is not enough to hold City Navigator and TopoActive, one of both maps need to go on sd card. This is okay, as installation of both maps on sd card works fine and correctly.
But I noticed, when TopoActive is istalled on sd card, 'Garmin DEM Map EU 2020.10' is being shown in map list, which can be enabled or disabled. If I do the opposite and install TopoActive on internal storage, no 'Garmin DEM Map EU 2020.10' is being shown in list.
In both cases, gmapdem.img has been installed, but only being on sd card, it's shown as selectable map. Is this as bug? Or does installtion on internal memory always enable it?
You can also easily reproduce yourself by only manually moving gmapdem.img to sd card and later back.
