GPSMAP 66s the device freezes

Hello,
Each time I save the current activity (after stopping it), the device freezes.
I have to switch it off and switch it on to have access to the different menus.
Software Version: 9.60
GPS Software Version: 2.80

Wel,l I have the bug in the link below which sounds the same except that I do not have to restart the device to get past it. Device appears frozen but I can press "Quit" or "Page" to advance one screen in either direction. Then navigate back to the activity page and all is good until the next time I save the activity. Has the OP tried this rather than restarting the unit?

Could it be the same problem i posted here?
The SD card holder door problem.
I have not any freezing since I did this fix......
