If you are configuring the Activity Type (Setup -> Recoding), I noticed, that 'Motorcycling' is missing. This is contrary to Setup -> Routing -> Activity, where you can choose 'Motorcycle Driving'. I do wonder, if this is some limitation in recording or maybe just forgotten by Garmin? Firmware 10.90.

I got a good hint from Garmin here. It's related, that Garmin Connect does not support such activity and because of this, it's missing. So all fine. Will fill an feature request for Garmin to consider this in future.

The only purpose for this setting is to help users identify and filter thier activities in Garmin Connect. This setting has no bearing on how the device records your data. If Garmin Connect does not support Motorcycling, then there is no reason to include it in this setup menu on the device.

Yeah, agree. But I think, it would be a nice addition to Garmin Connect to support such activity. The list is very long, so I think, it would be a good git. I made a suggestion to Garmin. Who knows, maybe they will add this in future - or not.

Garmin Connect is focused on fitness and exercise - which Motorcycling definitely is not. Motobike, perhaps, but not street bikes.

I woudln't fully agree. With Motorcycling, I am not only thinking about street bikes. if I do look into Garmin Connect, there is a long misc list, which also includes stuff like 'Car race', 'Motocross' or 'Motorsport'. So I think, adding Motorbike or something like that would be a useful addition. But anyway, this is not anymore related for Montana for now
