I got a software update to 13.10 and gps firmware update to 2.81. Now it's time to play with it as I could not find any reference to what was changed.

Montana 7x0 Firmware Update 13.10 released 27MAY22.

GPS: 2.81
Display: 85.07
CIQ: 3.2.4

Change Log:

• Added the option to clear all saved dog tracks.

• Added Corner Data Fields on the map to profiles.

• Improved Bluetooth pairing behavior with Sena Headsets.

• Fixed a possible issue with Distance to Destination and Distance to Next data fields.

• Fixed a possible issue with editing a Geocache filter.

• Fixed a possible issue with entering Mass Storage mode during SOS.

• Fixed a possible issue navigating to the next stage of a Multi-Cache.

This update is being released in stages via Garmin Express and OTA, and should be available to everyone soon.

Is version 13.10 correct? Just asking, as someone had reported 12.10 on a new device. Currently, no update is yet offered for my Montana

Thank you. This is really a big jump from 10.90 to 13.10.

I took the unit out on the logging roads today to geocache and first appearances look good. It did not appear to go into a "trance" when you stopped the vehicle and got out and walked. I was seeing the effect that it would take a few minutes before tracking again or stay frozen where the vehicle stopped moving. The response appears immediate now. Also it was rendering the track and gps position correctly all day. Previously I would stop and the coordinates could be out by a couple of hundred feet for quite a while before moving into the real position. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue?

I also got now the update. But Garmin Express is not showing any changelog (tried also with usb virtual device).

I see a new app called "Map Manager". What is the purpose? It looks like the old map settings.

The 'Map Manager' is nothing more than a shortcut to the Map Setup page.

Thanks. At least I can already say, translation (in german) is missing for "Map Manager".

I also received firmware 13.10. i am very happy to have the new firmware on my montana 700. it seems that bug 95 has been fixed. I'm going to look up some geocaches first and navigate to waypoints to make sure bug 95 is actually fixed.
