Today update of the CPE, impossible to have the satellites, I delete the CPE, I recharge it with Garmin Connect, it is well dated there today, but after a hour of acquisition no satellite.
It is time for Garmin to modify the firmware, we are really taken by fools, I read on Facebook Garmin forum that those who buy a 66sr do not understand this problem of acquiring satellites.

Which firmware are you running?

I just tried it, CPE update via Garmin Explore, no problem after: satellites acquired fast, both bands and all 3 GNSS types. My GPSMAP 66sr is running firmware v5.20. After the sync, my CPE.BIN file is 323,316 bytes.

Do not spend too much time on this, it will be corrected very soon.

5.50, this morning CPE current and still no satellite. Garmin is ignoring us...

Since you are using 5.50, did you try that work-around where you disable Multi-GNSS, that is go with GPS Only? When I had 5.50 this 'fixed' it, meaning it started to find satellites right away. Not ideal but at least it works, until the issue gets fixed.

This morning, update of the same CPE, nothing works in multi-band. If I put GPS Only, I actually have the GPS system, but the accuracy is not good.
