USB-C and BaseCamp?

Hello all,
Hope you are doing well and enjoying outdoors.
I am planning on buying a Lenovo X1 tablet gen 3 (windows 10) in order to have access to Garmin base camp on the go.
This tablet only has usb c ports.
Do Garmin devices like the Dakota work well with usb c to usb a adapters?
