Does anyone elses 67 turn off sometimes when you press play on the weather maps for rain etc? I know someone else with a 67 and theirs does the same.

Mine version 6.60, works well on the weather page, no blocking.

The bluetooth is always connected, this is my 2nd 67 as I sent the first one back because the finish on the toggle button worn after a few days, and that device also swtiched off sometimes when playing the weather. That was another reason why I sent it back lol.

Not related to the issue playing the weather map, but I exchanged my GPSMAP 67 for a new one with Garmin due to the finish on the buttons wearing off. Interesting to see I apparently wasn't the only one having this issue.

Yes mine was the raised edge of the bottom end of the toggle button, I returned it to the company I purchased it off GPSTRAINING.co.uk who were excellent and had me a new unit sent out. Was a 3 day turn around couldn't fault it, been fine since after a few months of heavy use.

I might have seemed a bit picky to the company but as I stated to them it wasn't exactly a cheap device at £470 for the button to go manky within a few weeks. After a few years I could understand more.

Anyone take photos of the poor toggle button finish before returning them?

@RickN55, which mobile apps are connected to the GPSMAP 67 when the weather animation crash occurs? Which phone? Please confirm that Wi-Fi is disabled and not connected when this occurs. Thank you.
