Today Garmin Express offered device software 7.60 for my GPSMAP 67. Unfortunately no change log (I still don't understand why no release notes are offered for the GPSMAP 67/67i upon release of an update).
I did not install yet, so who is brave enough to try it out If someone installed the update, share your observations here!
Says a lot about Garmin's firmware when people dare not install it for a period of time after release until others have to see what new issues it makes..
Shame as Garmin devices are fantastically made and designed, it's just a shame it's the firmware them lets them down.... Massively...
Also where do they think up of the numbers for each firmware release, like we had 4.80, 5.30 then the last two have ended in .60..
Installed it. Crashes related to the map page when dashboards are enabled is fixed. Unless I never noticed it before there are two bar graphs showing internal and external memory usage under the map manager page. Still not able to show two data fields on the map page. Ascent/Decent values I haven’t checked yet. No major issues standing out so far. Saving a waypoint after panning the map is still far slower than other models I’ve owned ??? No auto key lock release, that I can see.

Under the units settings I’ve noticed that elevation doesn’t show what unit is chosen. Maybe it was like that before, you can still select feet or meters but it doesn’t show on the page where units show below the other values like distance, temperature, and pressure.

This has always been the case so no regression in 7.60 fortunately
