Barometric mode
Barometric mode:
My 66sr no longer seems to work with the barometric altimeter, it indicates a value lower than the altitude of the location, even after calibration, I put 108m, it then displays within 50m variable, it is just at GPS altitude. And yet when I look at the barometric pressure, it works normally. Is there something I don't understand, I don't see any other solutions.

Indicates where?
Please provide screen captures with data fields showing this.
This would also be helpful on the same screen captures from above.

Re: Barometric mode
I can see air pressure with a widget installed with Garmin Connect.
Comparing with the 67, the 66sr does not seem to calculate the atmospheric pressure based on the altitude of the location, that is the problem.
When I am on the satellite page, the altitude is the correct 107m while the altitude (not the GPS one) displayed on the data fields is 170m.
The 67 displays the same altitude on the satellite page as the 66sr, so it comes from the display somewhere and not from the barometer which works normally.....

The Altitude field displays the manual calibration value.
Everything works properly.

Re: Barometric mode
I do not need the manual to calibrate my GPS, I have had Garmin GPS since 1996, I know, I have had 18 different types since that date, I repeat when I calibrate my 67 at 108m, I I have 108 m on the map screen in the altitude field, but not with the 66sr which has an insoluble problem for me, calibrated at 108m and the altitude field of the map is at 171m.

I did a factory restore, I hadn't done that, in fact it was a bug.....Good.

Re: Barometric mode
So the full factory reset cured the issue?
We dislike doing those as there is so much setup required again after, but sometimes this is the only way to get the device back to 'normal'.
