More info would be very helpful.
  • What firmware is loaded to your GPSMAP 67?
  • Which version of BaseCamp? Mac or PC?
  • What steps are you taking when you attempt (and fail) to import photos from your GPSMAP 67 into BaseCamp?
We just successfully imported photos from our GPSMAP 67 (v8.30) into BaseCamp (PC v4750) without issue using the instructions found at GPSrChive > BaseCamp > Photos > Import Photos.

Photos can be imported from your device when using the Receive from Device option,
but the photos should be in the JPEG directory.

When tagging photos based on a trace, the photos can be in any location.
One of the reasons for the inability to import photos to Base Camp may be the discrepancy between
the date the photo was taken and the date the track was recorded.
In Base Camp, we indicate the trace record - Mark photos with geotags using the trace - we indicate
the location of the photos on the device.

It seems that photos with .jpeg are not taken. Those with .jpg are ok and are seen with Basecamp

The photos on your device should be in the JPEG directory.
Create a directory named JPEG in your device's memory
and put photos in it. When synchronizing your device with Base Camp, photos will be imported.

According to Garmin's assumptions, photos taken with the device's camera are stored in the DCIM folder
in the device's memory or on the SD card, photos are not imported to Base Camp during synchronization.

Photos taken with another camera after adding geotags should be in the JPEG folder.

Photos geotagged in Base Camp can be sent to the device, they will go to the JPEG folder,
these photos will be imported during synchronizing the device with Base Camp.

Photos that do not have geotags are not imported when synchronizing the device with Base Camp.

My photos are taken with iPhone and geotag. I reduced them to 50k and renamed then .jpg .They are in JPEG folder.
All is working now but I don't understand why they must be renamed in jpg?? :?
