Apparently, according to this groundspeak geocaching forum
post, one can
download it from this site. Looking at the firmware page, the link isn't active though. What is the advice? Download an install it or not?

I suspect there may be a good reason Garmin have not pushed that update out yet - so I would suggest waiting until they do.

Downloaded the zip version as in the link in the message by searchjaunt. Renamed the old file so it's still there as a backup. Copied the new version to the folder. Start up - it installed ok. I'll test it this coming weekend on simple track marking, weighpoints, and expedition mode.

Hooray!! GPS Software V 2.70 arrived today via Garmin Express (I'm in Canada). I haven't noticed any difference, lol.

That sure took a long time..... The official Garmin update page shows it was released June 04.

No, only Garmin can answer that...
