Routes Rename Themselves Randomly

I have a GPSMap 65s and the same occurs on my Montana 610.

I create my routes on the GPS and give them a name to suit the route. From time to time when planning multiple routes I find that the routes already created will change their names to a route name that already exists. So, we end up with multiple routes with the same name. All of the GPS software are up to date. At first I thought that it was a problem with the Montana 610. But when it also happens on the GPSMap 65s I thought that something is amiss. I have searched the internet but cannot find a similar error reported.

Has anyone else experienced this and can recommend a solution.
