Comparisons of satellite view screens from solar and non-solar etrex-se units with both units in multi-gnss modes.

All gnss satellite positon locations on the satellite view screens for the different gnss systems are the same for both solar and non-solar etrex.
But the satellite numbers are all different for all but the gps (american gnss system) when comparing the solar and non-solar etrex-se's. This could be because of different software versions solar and non-solar.
The satellite numbers are the same only when selecting gps(american) satellite view screens. All other gnss system satellite numbers are different between etrex solar and nonsolar garmins
Possibly Garmin makes up the non-american satellite numbers??

My non-solar software version is
software ver 3.10
host 3.10
gps 2.42
ble 3.00

My solar software version is
software ver 4.02
host 4.02
gps 2.49
ble 3.00

Unable to duplicate with current firmware installed on both devices.

Both devices display the correct satellite IDs for each constellation tested (unable to test QZSS and NavIC), which can be found at GPSrChive > GNSS.

Please update your firmware.

FYI,

There is no 'eTrex SE Solar'.

There are only these two similar models:
