Download Maps Here Glitch [Bug 40]

I find Osaka in Japan, I find the section I want to download. I press menu->download maps here. "Requesting map update data" appears briefly then a square turns up on the map page.

If I zoom in or out then map stays the same, If move the square any direction to fine tune the image I want downloading THEN zoom either in OR out the map with the selection square jumps North East miles away from the original target selection.

It does it everytime over and over again, so I have to cancel the downloading maps here function and find the original place and try again remembering not to touch the up down left right button and only use the zoom (to minimise the file size).

It does the same thing anywhere on the planet, I scroll to a random place in England, select download maps here, move the square 1 touch left then press zoom out or in and the map jumps off to a new location.

Anyone confirm this annoying bug?

Another bit to this, if I scroll down it just jumps back , I pan the map away and boing it jumps back.
So I pressed zoom out and it just jumped back to actual location.


Edit - I just restarted the device to make sure it wasn't just a weird glitch but no.... If I scroll about choosing which part of the map to download then press zoom out or zoom in then the selected box jumps off to another location miles away.

Edit ² - it does this once, I push the square back where I selected then I zoom and move box without any weird map teleports

We will get to the bottom of this and now I will take note of every single glitch.

Bug 39 is a thing with the garmin downloaded maps aswell as third party. Mine has downloaded maps and I've had it where a single zoom level equals the sea, the land disappears until you zoom up or down.
