Benchmark Symbol Not Displayed

On my 66sr I accidently deleted all the files in the garmin directory instead of just the visits.txt file as I intended. I had a backup, although a little ole, but everything is working again except one thing. For some reason the symbol for the benchmarks, (I load the benchmarks in a ggz file separate from my caches), has reverted to a treasure chest instead of the benchmark symbol I had it as previously. This benchmark symbol is not in the files in the \Garmin\CustomSymbols\ directory with the rest of my custom symbols. I cannot remember how I had the benchmark symbol displaying before. Anyone have an idea to refresh my recollection as to how I had it working previously? Thanks.

If you followed the instructions at GPSrChive > How To... > Benchmark, you probably copied the desired symbol to the CustomSymbols directory on your GPSMAP 66sr and renamed it Geocache.bmp.

I had just figured out this morning that my backup did not have the latest custom symbols and did not include 4 that it should have including the benchmark symbol I used. Got that fixed and the display on the GPSr is now good.

Thanks as usual for your timely answer. Hope all is well there!

I figured you would 'figure it out' before I could even respond!
