Street Names Not Displayed [Bug 151]

Upgraded from 20.50 to 23.10. As a result my maps lost street names. This is my observation:
- TopoActive 2024.20 shows street names
- TopoActive 2024.10 doesn't show street names
- My maps with TYP graphics don't show street names
- My maps without TYP graphics show street names
Maybe some problem with TYP?

Interesting.
I have renamed da699000d.sid and now TopoActive 2024.20 doesn't show street names either.
Evidently new processing of sid file has damaged support for standard maps.

Just out of curiosity, what version of your maps are you using, and how are your map page settings configured?

I have maps of Poland, which are equivalent of maps from my site, like USA OSM Topo and USA OSM Auto:
My topo maps use TYP for defining graphics and they suffer from Montana problem. Auto maps don't and they work correctly.
I have tried to change map's configuration, like to change details, font size and zoom level for names, but it doesn't help.

Do you find the same maps are displayed properly on Garmin devices without Outdoor Maps+?

The same maps were displayed properly with firmware 20.50. And no problem with BaseCamp, when the same img is on a pendrive.

Same problem for me before the update my device was in 16.50 and everything worked but now with the new version no street name appears on an osm map and a backroadmaps map do you have any solutions thank you

The lack of displaying street names on the map is a limitation of the functionality, the device should display names, but many users turn off the display of street names during hiking, I am one of them.
I think that despite the lack of display, the address search works, and that during route navigation
the street names will be displayed as navigation instructions.

You can wait for a firmware patch or upgrade to an older version of the firmware.

It has been determined this is not the cause of this bug.
