Battery percent option not working

Hello, just got an eTrex Solar, and wanted to see the remaining battery percentage of the internal lithium battery.

Under "System Setting", there is "Battery Percent" toggle, which says

> Displays the remaining battery life as a percentage.
> NOTE: This setting is available only on the eTrex Solar navigator.

But I am just not seeing the results.

On the top left of the screen, the info, %, is solar charging rate. This is not that %.

On the top right, there's the battery icon (that shows rough level), but no percentage, despite toggling the "Battery Percent" setting. In fact, I can't really tell which display element this setting actually affects.

I am on software version 4.21, which is the latest.

Why this is important to me? As the internal lithium battery is not replaceable, I would like to keep its state of charge around 20-80%. Without a numeric % it is harder to do this.

Ah, that's what it is. The battery % only shows up in the power menu, accessible by holding down the power button!

It's slightly counter-intuitive, but now that I've found it, it's fine.

I wish it'll just show up on the regular home screen, inside the current battery status outline at the top (some phones works that way and is pretty intuitive). It can also obviously show up in the data field when "Battery" is chosen (a lot of pixels there to work with).
