The H1 (Firmware 3.04) has a configurable action button. Similar to various older Garmin devices.
But I only can choose from:
- Flashlight
- Siren
- Activity Control
- Mark Waypoint
- Screenshot
- None
Thats all?
Why not ..
... a "screen look/unlock"- function as in older devices (ex. the Oregon)?
... open directly an app (like Geocaching or better: one of the functions there)?
...

Re: H1: Poor functionality for the action button [RF 1]
Even I still do not like the H1 due the current state of FW (Version 5.0.9), the added functions to the action button seems to work and are helpfull:
I like to lock the screen by pressing the action button while putting the H1 into my pocket.
