BaseCamp with H1

With other GPSMap devices (e.g., 66sr, 67i, etc.), the connection to BaseCamp is never a problem; the content of the internal memory and the uSD is immediately displayed in the left window.
The recorded tracks are shown as "current activity" and can be renamed, cut, modified, etc.
With the H1, however, you have to wait a long time, and sometimes you need to close and relaunch BaseCamp to see the device appear.
The recorded tracks take on the name of the date and time of the recording, but they cannot be renamed or modified.
This is annoying! Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?
