Do Not Purchase!

Never have I done this before, but I feel I must warn those considering purchasing a GPSMAP H1, these devices were released with incredibly buggy firmware and are missing so many common features from previous models, I just cannot recommend purchasing them in their current form.

Of course, everyone is free to do as they wish. Just expect an unnatural level of frustration with these new models until (if) the firmware matures to a more usable level. This process may require months or even years to complete, if ever.
Most users would be much better served with a previous model, such as the GPSMAP 67 or GPSMAP 65 series.
