Installed Memory Oregon 700

The information on the Garmin website (and here also) about free internal memory in the Oregon 700 is wrong.
The Oregon 700 probably has 4GB installed and when I received my new 700 there was 3.46GB free memory left. This value is also mentioned in several online reviews.

The Hardware page lists "Installed memory", not free memory. Free memory will always vary with installed maps etc. 8^)

How can free (usable) memory be larger than installed memory?
I have 3.46GB free internal memory on my Oregon 700 and filled it with 3.20GB of maps.
Garmin says in their specs that the Oregon 700 has 1.7GB Memory/history but it should be 4GB (3.46GB usable), the same as the Oregon 750, 64s, Montana 610, Etrex Touch 35.
Older models like the Oregon 600 and the 62s that I both own have 1.7GB Memory/history as Garmin calls it.

Take a look at this review: https://www.navigation-professionell.de ... 750t-test/

Google translation:
The »700er« comes with (usable in the Windows Explorer displayed) 3.46 GB, the 750t still with 7.2 GB, whereby in the latter with the preinstalled TopoActive only about 2, 6 GB remain free.

Thank you for that screen capture! Hardware page has been updated accordingly! Now if someone has similar screen capture from an Oregon 750, please post it!
