Oregon 7x0 Firmware 4.90

Changes made from version 4.80 to 4.90:

Fixed Position Format text error.


The software engineers at Garmin resolved this 'new to 4.80' issue so quickly we never even had time to add it to the common issues page. Still, much work remains to be done on the Oregon 7x0 series....

I think the "Fixed Position Format text error" was something to do with the display of the westing coordinate (where I live, anyway) from 'W xxx xx.xxx' (with the MINUTE SYMBOL " ' ") showing at both the BEGINNING and ENDING of the coordinate, while the northing just displayed N xxx xx.xxx without the symbols (as it should have been). Again, NOT a big issue considering all the other items that should be looked into for the Oregon 7x0 series...

Apparently we did get it posted in the Common Issues page as Bug 43. Example can be seen there.
