GPS version 2.80

Hej why is it not possible for me to download gps version 2.80?
Are there still problems with garmins download site ?
I have tried it with GE and GW.
Have now gps version 2.70 and firmware version 4.20.
Is there maybe another way to download the file,and if so ,how.

GE = Garmin Express, GW = Garmin WebUpdater ?

I also dont get the offer to install 2.8
Maybe i did get revoked becuase of the update problem a user in this forum had with an unusable gpsmap...

No GPS S/W V 2.80 here either.....yet. I remember wondering why V 2.70 was not available awhile ago when suddenly it appeared via WebUpdater. I think we'll see it soon enough.

So far Garmin hasn't offered me GPS f/w 2.80 either. Very poor show.
However, it's available on GPSrChive here:

GPS S/W version 2.80 just arrived via Garmin Express. Both my 66s and 66st are up to date.
