Routing problems with maps from alternativaslibres.org

Does anyone else use maps from alternativaslibres.org ? I recently tried their maps after the maps at
http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ stopped getting updated.
I quite like them except I'm getting an occasional routing irregularity, and wondered if anyone else is having the same issue. The problem is that it seems to route OK, except the pink line (for the route) does not get drawn in some cases - as per:
GPSMAP 66st South Gregories Track routing.JPG
If I load the same map, and try the same route in my old 60csx, it works fine.

Which firmware version is your GPSMAP 66 loaded with?

It has been up-to-date, but just tonight it updated to 4.8 so I can't be absolutely certain what it was when the incidents happened. I imagine it was 4.2 because I see 4.7 only happened mid-September, and I noticed the issue in August.
I guess I should try it again with the new firmware on the off-chance they've addressed something they didn't mention in the release notes.

Thank you for confirming.
I have seen this on another Garmin device in the past, and suspected it was an issue with the map when the behavior was corrected after the map was updated to a newer version..
Can you load maps for the same area but from another source and retest?
There are multiple OSM map sources listed at GPSrChive > GPSMAP 66 > Maps.

I have been using openfietsmap since 2007
https://sites.google.com/site/openfietsmap/downloads
Tried most of all that are out there and keep coming back to openfietsmap.
I find them to be the most detailed and not so hard on the colors.
All are good but I find these to be the best for me.
The title might say Openfietsmap (OpenbikeMaps)but have all the hiking trails in them too.
Plus like most updated monthly.
