Excellent.
Some times a master reset cures those sticky bugs!

Unfortunately flashing of the main menu over other menus is back even after the reset.
It came first time when creating a new route.

OK, we are also seeing it on the 66sr.
Anyone seeing it on the 66i?

If you post the steps exactly then I will make sure I am testing it correctly on my two 66st units.

In my case:
MENU -> MENU -> Route planner -> Create route -> select first point -> Cities -> MENU -> Spell search.
After a few characters were entered the main menu flashes by.
It happens less frequently, but still it happens.

Did the same test and all worked very fast.
Had no problems, No flashing of menus.
Ran the test 3 times turning the 66 on and off for each test spelling out different cities with the 3 tests.
Just to add to this I have never had and screen flicking at any time with different versions of the firmware.

Screen Menu Flicker seems to happen for us more frequently when we have WiFi enabled but not connected.
Here are some examples from our 66sr, and we see the exact same behavior on our 66st.

Re: GPSMAP 66 Firmware 5.00 [Bug 99]
Hi.
I was looking at the common issues page for 66s/st.
Bug 79 does not look fixed. It does not work to jump to the bottom from the top pressing D-pad up, nor jump to the top from the bottom pressing D-pad down.

Re: GPSMAP 66 Firmware 5.00
Bug 79 was in regards to the Waypoint Manager List being able to skip from first to last by pressing up on the D-Pad ONLY while the list was being populated, and this behavior has been corrected.
Do you know of any specific Garmin GPSr that behaves differently?
