Compact and reliable ballistics chronograph adds rapid-fire tracking, Garmin smartwatch integration,
Applied Ballistics connectivity and more
OLATHE, Kan./Jan. 20, 2026/Outdoor
Wire – Garmin (NYSE: GRMN) is expanding its advanced chronograph
lineup with the introduction of Xero C2. Building upon the success
of its predecessor, Xero C2 adds faster processing capabilities that
allow for new features like rapid-fire tracking and resume session,
plus Garmin smartwatch integration and Applied Ballistics
connectivity. The pocket-sized chronograph is easy to set up and
remarkably accurate, measuring projectiles from 100 to 5,000 feet
per second for bullets, arrows, slugs, airsoft BBs and more.
“Whether
the target is a mile away or 40 yards, Xero C2 is the perfect
companion for a day at the range. Combining performance and
reliability, this chronograph lets marksmen truly focus on their
shot, giving them confidence that they can track data with an
accuracy they can trust.” - Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of
Consumer Sales and Marketing
What’s new
- Rapid-fire support: Track up to 10 shots per second, depending on projectile velocity.
- Applied Ballistics connectivity: Transfer muzzle velocity straight into the Applied Ballistics solver for long-range shooting solutions on a compatible smartphone.
- Resume session: Switch between different firearms or test multiple bows or arrows and view data for each dedicated session.
Smartwatch integration
When using a compatible Garmin smartwatch,
like the new tactix 8 – Cerakote Edition, marksmen caneasily access
session controls, view live chronograph data and import muzzle
velocity into the Applied Ballistics ecosystem.
ShotView App
Use the ShotView app on a compatible
smartphone to record results, compare velocity for every shot fired,
view live sessions data, track deviation and more. The new
configurations feature also lets users manage and track projectile
and load data for firearms and bows. And during a shooting session,
if more than one Xero C2 is paired to the ShotView app, marksmen can
conveniently start a session on one chronograph and continue it on
another.
Purpose-built design
Compact and easy to transport, Xero C2 features a rugged design and
reinforced housing that withstands recoil when mounted to a firearm.
It also has an IPX7 water rating and sunlight-readable,
high-contrast display that is easy to see while at the range. And
the rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it possible for users to
shoot up to 2,000 shots (or up to 6 hours) on a single charge.
Available to purchase starting January 23, 2026, the Xero C2
has a suggested retail price of $699.99.
