  • The Active Weather page displays the following information for the currently active or selected location:

    • Current weather conditions
    • Hourly weather forecast spanning 4 to 24 hours (model dependent)
    • Daily weather forecast spanning 4 to 5 days (model dependent)
    • Radar Map with previous hour animation in 10 minute increments
    • Cloud Cover Map with previous hour animation in 10 minute increments (model dependent)
    • Temperature Map with 12 hour forecast animation in 3 hour increments (model dependent)
    • Wind Speed Map with 12 hour forecast animation in 3 hour increments (model dependent)
    • Weather Alert Map displaying NOAA SAME weather alerts (Rino models only)
 
A2. How is Active Weather data loaded to my device?
   
 
  • The Active Weather feature requires an active Bluetooth or Wi-Fi internet connection to access weather information.
  • Weather data is not available outside established coverage areas.
 
A3. How much does Active Weather cost?
   
 
  • Active Weather forecast information and map data are provided free of charge.
  • Data connection charges from your internet provider may be incurred.
