1.
Vehicle Selection

  • A variety of Garmin models allow the user to choose which vehicle icon is displayed on the Map screen.
  • Most of these devices can support up to thirty vehicles loaded on the device.
  • Vehicles currently installed on a Garmin GPSr can be viewed and enabled in the Map Setup menu.


 


2.
Vehicle Installation

  1. Automated Vehicle Installation
     
    1. Ensure you have the latest Garmin Communicator Plugin installed.
    2. Connect your Garmin GPSr via USB in Mass Storage Mode.
    3. Choose the desired vehicle from the Garmin Garage (USA or Malaysia)
    4. Select Install Now.
    5. Disconnect and restart the Garmin GPSr.
    6. Enable vehicle in the device Map Setup menu.
       
  2. Manual Vehicle Installation
     
    1. Select a vehicle to install to your Garmin GPSr from any of the sources listed below.
    2. Download and save chosen vehicle to your computer.
    3. Connect your Garmin GPSr via USB in Mass Storage Mode.
    4. If necessary, unzip the desired vehicle archive.
    5. Copy the unzipped vehicle file (*.srf) to the [GPSr]\Garmin\Vehicle\ directory.
    6. Disconnect and restart the Garmin GPSr.
    7. Enable vehicle in the device Map Setup menu.
       
  3. GUI Vehicle Installation
     
    1. Download and install Garmin Vehicle Manager for Windows PC.
    2. View and transfer vehicles between your PC and Garmin devices:
      • Select to configure desired directories.
      • Select to select connected Garmin device.
      • Select to update selected directory content.
      • Drag and Drop vehicles as desired to copy them from one directory to the other.
      • Right Click > 'Preview Vehicle' to view selected vehicle simulated on a Garmin device.
        • Select to view vehicle simulation from all angles.
      • Right Click > 'Delete' to remove selected vehicle from current directory.
