Activation
Before you can use your inReach SE+/Explorer+ satellite communicator, you must activate it.
- Create an account,
and choose a satellite subscription at explore.garmin.com.
- Turn on the device.
- Follow the on-screen
instructions.
- When prompted, go
outdoors to an open area with a clear view of the sky.
- Wait for the device
to communicate with the Iridium satellite network.
NOTE: It can take up
to 20 minutes to activate your device. The device must send and receive
several messages, which takes longer than sending a single message during
regular use.
