I suggest to check with Garmin Support. The GB Discoverer maps are quite old, so it could be they are not compatible with the GPSMAP 67 anymore.

I have the same problem. I have "ebay" micro sd cards for UK 1:25K and 1:50k which worked fine on my Garmin Oregon 700 but not on my new Gpsmap67.
Fortunately I have a Talky Toaster uk map card also used in the Oregon and this works correctly on the 67. There must be a bit of code missing on the old Discoverer cards. Has anyone been able to get the older cards to work on 67s?

Are you sure the maps are genuine? The GPSMAP 67 has “improved” protection compared to previous series and therefore the “unlocked” maps you can find online do not work anymore.

No map card will work in the 67 unless it is a genuine Garmin TOPO GB v2 or v3.The 67 can't be patched either like some of the older devices like the 65s to work with the ebay jobbies and such so I'm told.. The Talkytoaster maps are based on OSM so will work in any device new or old whether it has map protection on or not.

The 67 is totally restricted, indeed we can read certain cards with the 66 but not with the 67.
GPSMAP66sr, GPSMAP67, GPSII+, Twonav Cross.
