Garmin eTrex and (iOS) Explore app

Hi all,

Updated my Garmin & explore app yesterday. I run an iPhone 12 with latest software as well.

Has anyone experienced this before…
Paired Garmin to iPhone, I open the explore app. The sync process completes and I’m ready to start a hike.

I turn on the tracking mode and start walking. My elevation and speed data is not being displayed and only the heading on the app shows.

The bread crumbs display but the blue triangle does not move it stays at the starting location. Also no Bluetooth logo is displayed on the triangle.

This is running 3.13.1 for the explore app.

I decide to connect my iPad to the Garmin etrex as the iPad had an older version of the app installed. After walking around and testing 3.10 explore app version had no bugs. I decide to update the iPad to 3.13.1 and the same story happens and replicates the
iPhone issues.

I gave my friend the gps to test on his android. Latest software and app was version 3.13.2 he encountered zero issues.

Please clarify, the Explore App Map Screen displays your track log history/progress as you move along, but the blue arrow icon remains at the starting location the entire time? Perhaps you can share a screen capture or two?
